PICC Resource Associates, LLC: Instructors' Credentials

PICC Resource Associates, LLC Instructors are highly qualified venous access experts who offer quality services to our clientele. We contract with Instructors and Clinical Consultants who are registered nurses and IV therapy specialists with extensive experience in IV care and in training clinical professionals. Our Instructors and Clinical Consultants are members of the Connecticut and/or National Infusion Nurses Society (INS). The INS is the premier organization that sets the standards of practice for infusion nursing. In addition to being members of INS, our instructors maintain a CRNI certification or have a minimum of 20 years of experience as IV therapy specialists and IV therapy trainers. The CRNI or Certified Registered Nurse Infusion certification is granted to a RN by the Infusion Nurses Credentialing Center, (INCC). The INCC is a separate corporation from the INS and is responsible for the adminstration of the CRNI credentialing program. The CRNI program is the only nationally recognized certification program for infusion nursing.

Alice Cennamo, RN, CRNI - is the Founder, President and Head Clinical Consultant for PICC Resource Associates, LLC. She is responsible for program development and heads up the instruction for most of our class offerings. In addition to being certified as a CRNI, Alice is certified as a Phlebotomy Instructor by the National Phlebotomy Association. Alice has an extensive background in IV care with clinical and leadership experience in multiple inpatient and outpatient settings. In addition to being a member of the National INS and the INS Connecticut Chapter, Alice is also a member of the Association for Vascular Access, the League of Intravenous Therapy Education, the Connecticut League for Nursing, the National Nurses in Business Association, and a past President and Board of Directors member of the INS Connecticut Chapter. Alice currently serves as the Internet Chairperson for the INS Connecticut Chapter.
